HOW I DISPLAY MY ART-INDOOR & OUTDOOR, UNDER A TENT

I am often asked how I display my quilt art in offering it for sale...
As this is art for the wall, I display on artist easels, with
foam core boards attached to the easels--then my art
is hung directly on the foam core board as a backdrop--
with the same idea of hanging it directly on a wall,
as any painting would be hung. An example is below,
with this being an indoor venue--but I display exactly the
same when at an outdoor venue, under my artist tent.

Huntsville Housing Developement Reception

Photos taken at the reception for those attending the
Huntsville Housing Developments, Inc. Seminar...
one of Huntsville's local florist, Glenn's, designed a
"neighborhood" for my "houses"!
It was incredibly beautiful, with real grass, trees,
flowers, fences, gates, butterflies and more.
I was so impressed with the display!!!
(See individual "houses" below)

"WHAT MAKES A HOUSE A HOME..." Series

"An Investment in Family...
An Investment in Community...
The Good Business of Affordable Housing..."
A seminar of affordable housing is being presented
in Huntsville by the Huntsville Housing Developments, Inc.,
on Thursday and Friday, February 7-8, 2008.
I was honored with a commission of my "House" series,
that will be the centerpiece of the reception room,
with the individual "houses" being presented
as gifts to the guest speakers of the seminar by HHD.
Again, I am so honored to have my art chosen
as a representational theme in support
of such an important project for Huntsville
in strenghtening families and our community.
